How important is my inventory for accurate quoting?
If you’re looking for the most accurate quoting system, then the quality of your inventory is very important.
If you’re inventory is wrong, then your price is going to vary. We realise that 3 months from your collection date that you might be a little unsure of exactly what is and what isn’t going, but don’t stress to much over it at that point.
What we recommend you do is on your first quotation, do it to the best of your ability, you should have a reasonably good idea on what big items are going, your bed/fridge/Tv/lounge etc, so get all of them on the list.
Then take a bit of an educated guess towards your total box count. A good estimate is around 10 per person in the house.
If you’re happy with this original price, then we suggest you book it in, get your dates set, and then over time work on fine-tuning your inventory and price.
Then as you start to sell/give away/dump things you don’t want, that inventory list is going to change, so then come back to us and give us the changes, we can then provide a more accurate quote.
Over time towards the removal date you’ll eventually fine-tune your inventory to exactly what you need to move, you’ll know exactly how much you need to pay, and we’ll know how much space you’ll need and will price your move as competitively as we possibly can.
